Some of the different areas that Interior Design degree that you will cover include comparing the various types of fabrics and learning how to offer swatches as samples to potential customers, estimating costs for a job so that you can make a profit and cover the cost of the materials, how to include the customers style and unique taste into the overall design, drawing up floor plans and layouts using various types of computer software, window treatments, mixing and matching furniture. It is very important that you complete an Interior Design program from an accredited college. This will help you complete a comprehensive portfolio throughout your education that you can put to use immediately in the work force. While it can be convenient to complete the program from your home you need to realize you will be missing out on plenty of hands on opportunities. Many of them don’t offer you a diploma, certificate, or degree so you have nothing to prove you have completed the course. |
