You will then move onto the next part of the coursework, which will teach you how to plan color schemes, teach you the properties of color, and how to use the color wheel.
Using color – This is one of the most important parts of any online interior decorator course. This part of the course work will teach you the basics of color and you generally start with the color wheel. The color wheel is the backbone of any interior decorator and, as the name suggests, is a circle showing the primary colors: red, green, and blue. All other colors derive when they are mixed together from these three colors. The wheel then goes onto show all other colors that derive from mixing. It was developed by Sir Isaac Newton in 1666 and numerous versions have been designed and used as a valuable tool in interior decorating ever since.
Once you have learnt the basics of interior decorating, you gradually move on through the online interior decorator courses, which show you how to incorporate other aspects into interior decorating. These may include learning how to treat walls, using wall coverings, painting murals and using paneling.
